Notice of Hearing on Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Newport will meet in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 596 7th Avenue, at 5:30 P.M, or shortly after the start of the regular City Council Meeting on June 2, 2022, to receive public input on the adequacy of the City’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the SWPP will be heard at this meeting.

City of Newport Notice of Public Hearing for Major Abatement
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Newport will hold a public hearing for a major abatement, whereas the abatement cost is estimated to exceed $5,000, on June 2, 2022, in the City Council Chambers of the Newport City Hall, 596 7^th Avenue, Newport, MN 55055, at 5:30pm or shortly thereafter, to receive public comment regarding violations of the Newport City Code owned by Croix Holdings LLC at 1139 Tibbetts Place including adjacent parcels: PIDs 3602822310067, 3602822310066, 3602822310120, 3602822310057, 3602822310064, and 3602822310065. These violations include non-compliance with Chapter 18, Part I, Section 36-161, Section 36-241, Section 36-553, and Section 36-554.

Public Notices are also posted on the bulletin board in the entrance of City Hall.
